Bosch Clasixx 1200 Express Washing Machine

Swish Swash - we've got lots to wash! Our current washing machine is a Bosch Clasixx 1200 Express.

It is a lovely machine and seems to be reliable. We have owned it for nearly two years and it replaced our old machine which was an earlier Bosch model which had served us well for about 8years. Finally it stopped spinning and so with much sadness we bought it's replacement.

Our current Washing machine was bought after research into largest load size - our family is very big - and also with environmental concerns. We needed one which had at least an A+ for energy efficiency at used only 45 litres of water for 6kg load which the equivalent used 40l water for a 4.5 load - so we felt it was fairly eco friendly. We can find no real fault with the machine. We always tend to use it on full capacity, full spin 1200 rpm and it has done us proud.

However my only complaint is that it has no short cycle or half load facility which is frustrating. The manufacturer has said that it has some clever sensor electronics (something else to go wrong in my opinion!) which cleverly weighs your load and only used the appropriate amount of water for that load. Unsure if this works, I don't believe it as even on a very small load their is a lot of water sloshing around. No real quick wash is annoying - the quickest it seems to have - cold/synthetics is 44 minutes!
