BPL 5.5 L Washer

My present washing machine is 5.5 L capacity BPL Brand the nodel no. of which is not known to me at the moment. Earlier to buying this machine, we used to wash the cloths manually. A servant used to come our house for washing the clothes.

On the day of her arrival, we used to put all the clothes in surf water and wait for her arrival. Several occassions we had to face lot of troubles when she donot come without any prior intimation.

Once, my wife was hospitalised and we decided to buy a washing machine. Myself and my son visited few show rooms and we liked this BPL machine. Its colour and apearance attracted us.

More over it was light weight. This washing machine was purchased 11 years back and so far it has not given any problem and hence we never had any service problem. I never owned any other machine earlier to the purchase of this machine.

We are viewing in the TV the demonstration of latest washing machine and my family membrs have started demanding to replace the machine with a modern machine. The main dis-advantage of this machine is, we have to take ot the clothes after washing and put it in the dryer.

Now we have decided to buy a washing machine of IFB brand which seems more convenient because once you put the cloths and do certain adjustments, automatically it will was the machine and finally the clothes will be ready after drying. Present machine, first we have to put washing powder, pour water, rotate and put cloths and wait for half an hour.

Then wash it, drain out soap water and again pour water 2-3 times and repeat the same process. Finally we have to take out the clothes and put in the dryer which is a time killing and laborious affair that is why I decided to change it.
