GE High Efficiency Washing Machine

I own a GE high efficiency washing machine. I really like it I have owned it for about 8 months. I bought it because my old washer was about 12 years old and was on its last leg.

The last time the repair man fixed my old washer he told me I better be in the market for a new one because the next time it broke he probably wouldn't be able to fix it.

My old washer was a Whirlpool and I really didn't have any problems with it until the last year I owned it. My new washer is a super capacity GE and I haven't had any problems with it.

I did a lot of research before I bought it reading reviews of different models and brands online before I picked the one I bought.

I was looking for another Whirlpool because I was impressed with how long my old one ran without any problems but all the reviews I read about the duets indicated that after about a year they were nothing but problems.

I think that my new washer is better than my old one mostly because it is newer technology but also it seems to get the clothes cleaner with less soap and less water and it uses less energy.

But I guess that is what high efficiency means and that is what I was looking for. I also noticed that it does all this using cold water which is probably where the energy savings comes from.

With my old washer I was always a little leary about washing towels and underwear in cold water, because I was afraid that they were not getting clean, but with my new washer they not only smell clean they feel clean.
