Kenmore Washer – 90 Series – Model # 110.28902790 This washer was sold to me with the house that I purchased about eighteen months ago.

The former owner said he’d purchased it new when he first moved in, three years before. He bought it from Sears and paid about $600. I’ve checked around the internet and discovered that this is Kenmore’s most popular model.After using it for the last eighteen months, I can see why.

The model is a heavy duty, super capacity plus unit that would more than fit the needs of any family of four.It’s a top load washer with a tub large enough to wash two, full-sized comforters at once, without an issue. No matter what sort of laundry you’re doing, there seems to be a setting for it.

You can set the water level for small, medium or large loads and set the water temperature anywhere from warm to cold, with four settings in between. You have a choice of either one or two rinse cycles, and there are separate speeds for hand washables, extra delicates, regular wash, heavy duty and hang dry.

There are also settings for soak, prewash, ultra clean and permanent press. I personally think that you get a lot for your money with this washer.

I’ve seen more expensive ones on the market that barely have half these features and aren’t even a name brand. So far, I’ve had no mechanical issues with the unit.It faithfully does anywhere from three to six loads each week. Considering that it has run almost five years with no problems, I have no reason to believe that it won’t continue to do a great job.

I would recommend this machine to anymore with a large family, looking for a bargain-priced unit of high quality and dependability.
