We bought LG front loader from Home Depot in 2006. We have had a problem with clothes smelling....The door gasket molds and is hard to try and get the excess water that stands in the gasket....

I keep the door open and try and wipe the water that stands in the gasket after ever wash....I would not reccommend anyone buyimg this LG Front Load Washer TROMM WM2277HW.

We purchased this front loader in 2006 and it lasted for five years. In addition to the complaints about mold problems and the stinky smell, the LG just does not clean well. I am ready to purchase a new washer due to the newest problem....it doesn't drain. It doesn't matter which setting it is on, about every 5th wash, there is water standing in the tub. Very unhappy with this purchase but had to make do since it was so expensive to begin with. Junk, junk, junk. Anyone know of a front loader that cleans well?

I have the same issue with a LG Tromm WM2277HW with mold. There is mold in the detergent dispenser, in the gasket, and smell like rotten eggs. Horribe machine, would never purchase another LG washer.....all beware!!
