LG WM0642HW did not meet my expectations.

First of all i bought the LG WM0642HW especially for the forced water recirculation nozzle spray feature in door seal that was on display in the showroom. When the new unit was delivered there was no spray nozzle in the door gasket on it.I called the store and they said it should be on it.I called LG they said i was mistaken that it was only on the steam models.I had to go to home Depot, Best Buy and write down the model and serial numbers on the WM0642HW to prove to LG headquarters that the nozzles were on the machines displayed in the stores and not on my unit. After i gave then the numbers, then LG said, oh yeah, you are right. We'll send a tech to install the Rec.Spray system.

It's now about two weeks into delivery. The tech comes to my home with only a plastic nozzle in hand.No pump ,hose, gasket etc.He then calls LG and they turn around and say they can't make modifications to the machine. Plus they would not warranty any changes. So now i still have to figure out what's going on because this is not what i paid for.

The retailer decides to ship me a new unit.Another week has passed and the new machine is delivered.Guess what, no recirculation nozzle on this machine either.I call LG again and after a long run around they tell me finally the recirculation feature has been discontinued on my model. It's now too late to cancel my order because it's been about four weeks and i'm stuck with exactly what i tried to avoid.

The new washer sat here unused for a month ,laundry piled up because i was under the impression that somehow my machine was made without the rec.spray system and didn't want to use the washer it if it was going to be returned. If LG had just been upfront from the start i could of promptly returned the washer because this is exactly what i didn't want.LG should of at least changed the model number or something to indicate a design change had been made and what was on display in showrooms would not be what was delivered. The washer uses too little water and they are not rinsed well at all.

Some dark clothes had to be thrown away.Just four gallons more water would make a difference in cleaning results. I just don't understand ,you have a front load design that already would use less water if LG had just put a strong Roto-Spray water stream that clothes would tumble through the laundry would get clean.Plus you wouldn't need a puddle in the botton of the cylinder.T

he problem is that with this washer, there is no spray nozzle and the water you do see in the tub is a couple of cups of concentrated dirty water .It's just horrible. If you're going to remove the recirculation feature then at least have the water level fill to the lower glass edge.

On nornal/cottons the water level is even lower.Laundry isn't even saturated until 8 or 9 minutes into the wash cycle. I still see dry spots on jeans & towels. How can any Roller Jets spray anything and there isn't any water in the cylinder.

What i do see is about a table spoon of water dribbling out of the baffels. It's just awful. The other features are fine if i could just get more water into the unit i'd be alot happier.I'm not saving a thing because i have to rewash loads and all im doing is helping to wear the machine out faster.Plus with the already long cycles my electeic bill is up.If manufactures would raise the water level i could cut down on this wash time.

Unbelievable the designers don't recognise this situation and how low water levels complicate this chore unnessarily.
