Reliability of Indesit 1000

My washing machine is the indesit 1000, this is the second Indesit washing machine i have had because of its reliability.

The drum takes a large load so is ideal for the family wash, settings for your white boil wash/ colored everyday wash are incorporated into the washing machine as well as wash settings for silk/curtains.

The different degree settings raging from 30-90 gives it an ideal choice for washing everything. The door lock is an excellent feature as it provides safety for young children. There are different rinse settings an extra rinse feature is ideal for making sure clothes are thoroughly rinsed, i do use this feature a lot.

The indesit washing machine last an average of seven years for the average family maybe a little longer when the children have flown the coup and washing loads become lighter. The average wash cycle is about one hour. My first indesit washing machine did last about seven years when smoke started to come out of the drum on my last wash it had burnt out and that is when i replaced the washing machine.

I have never had any problems with this machine or any costumer service problems. My first indesit washing machine was slightly smaller, this one has a larger drum which is ideal for larger items such as curtains and duvets. Cleaning the dispenser detergent draw is easy as it just clips out and washed in warm detergent keeping the draw clean and easily clipping in.

The washing machine did take a week to arrive so was not to bad waiting and buying in the summer i did manage, as i could hand wash clothes to drip dry. The indesit has a hand wash cycle for delicates and woollens but they do have to be drip dried. The sport shoes cycle is ideal for washing those dirty trainers.

Well to sum up, the indesit is rated in my top 100 and i would not be without it.
