Satisfied with Whirlpool Duet washer

We currently own a Whirlpool Duet washer and couldn’t be happier. When moving into our current house, we had a washing machine already included with the house.

This was a mid range GE machine that had numerous problems. It was a subpar machine that we finally got rid of. We decided on the Duet machine for several reasons.

We saw many good reviews of this particular model as well as the Whirlpool machine. Another reason we decided on this model was the fact that they are High Efficiency front loading machines.

This saves on detergent, water, energy, and money. It was a good decision to opt of the pedestal. If we did not get the pedestal for the machine, it would feel as if the washer was too low to the ground.

The pedestal also offers great storage space in a small laundry room. The numerous settings on the machine are wonderful as well. Having a variety of choices make washing different clothes and fabric types a breeze.

Of note is the sanitary setting. This setting does a great thorough cleaning of items such as towels that need to be deeply cleaned. Another great setting is the fact that you can set a timer for the washer.

You can start the washer to coincide with when you are returning back to the house to maximize your productivity.

This way, you can leave the house and time things right so the laundry is ready to go to the dryer when you return and not run the risk of having wet clothes left in the washer.

Overall, we are very happy with the washer in the short time we have had it. We have had the washer for less than two years now and look forward to many more years of good use.
