Whirlpool Front Loader washer/dryer

by Constance

My washer/dryer is Whirlpool Front Loaders that we purchased new in 2007. I thought I would like the front loading but I do not. When trying to move clothes from the washer to the dryer, clothes get dropped on the floor all the time.

I am not sure of the capacity, they are standard size I believe. We just had to repair the washer, major repair. Thank goodness whirlpool paid for everything but the labor, but we still had to pay $200 to fix it and it is not even 2 yrs old yet. I was very unhappy with this and will not buy Whirlpool again.

Worse whirlpool front loader washing mach
by: Anonymous

The washing machine front loader sucks, I do not recommend this to anyone, my towels smell like the rubber around the door, I've tried switching laundry soap that didn't work then I started using softner and that didn't hlep either, I have had two men sent to my house to smell my towels and one was a smoker and the other was a young kid. I still have the problem after two years, wish I had someone to stop me and tell me my clothes woudl end up stinking after I washed them. Hate this machine....

whirlpool duet drum

Whirlpool Duet Front Loader- less than 5 years old and the drum has separated from the plastic casing. Guess that wasn't worth the $800.00!!

FRONT LOAD WASHER BY WHILPOOL STINKS
by: EVA

PURCHASE A WHILPOOL FRONT LOADER WASHER 3 YEARS AGO WITH DRYER. LAST SPRING IT STARTED TO MAKE ALL KINDS OF NOISE.IT SOUNDED LIKE A JET TAKING OFF AND SUCH A GRINING SOUND. OPEN BACK AND THERE WAS BLACK SOOT ALL OVER THE DRUM. THE BEARING WENT IN IT.HAD IT LOOK AT AND THEY SAID THE BEARING PART HAD NOT BEEN GREASE BEFORE IT WAS PUT IN. SO LIKE A GOOD COUSTOMER I TRY TO ORDER THE PART, BUT YOU HAVE TO BUY THE DRUM AND WHAT EVER PART THAT IS NEEDED. WELL IT WOULD HAVE COME TO ABOUT 500 DOLLARS THAT'S WITH TAX AND SHIPPING NOT INCLUDING THE LABOR. WENT OUT AND BOUGHT A NEW SAMSUNG, AND THE OLD NEW ONE WENT TO THE DUMP. NEVER WILL BUY A WHILPOOL.
