Whirlpool SCW1012 Washing machine has become one of the ‘must have’ appliances in our home. I would like to share some reviews about my washing machine, Whirlpool SCW1012.

This was my first washing machine recommended by my friend.It is a product manufactured and distributed by one of the best appliances company we have today, Whirlpool. Model number is SCW1012. It is a freestanding product having a drum capacity of 10 kg. This capacity is enough for an average home.Its dimensions are 68 x 97 x 78 cm. loading is of front loading type. Other features are also highlighting. It has a speed of around 7200 RPM which is one of the best. The best color available is silver.

There are only very few color choice available, out of which silver is the best.It requires 78 liters of water per wash session. The average washing time is around 2 ½ hours which is a bit lengthy. Other features include digital display that show off the details of washing, a precise delay timer to delay the washing process, child safety lock and hand wash programme.

These are the highlighted features that intended me to purchase this product. It has been 2 years that I have brought this product. Until now, I have had one problem, of the drum. The actual capacity is 10 kg and it will start showing problems when we load more cloths beyond its capacity. This problem has been encountered by all washing machines. I called the customer care (toll free) and they forward the message to the local service center. The technician came to my home the next day itself.The customer service was good.

The cons of this product are its quite large and is bit noisy while washing.

In spite of that, it’s one of the best washing machines we have today.
